Production Update: Workshopping Continues

Yikes, we’ve been so busy workshopping our amazing cast that we forgot to update this site for a couple months. Sorry about that! We’ll be posting a lot more in the weeks and months to come, but in the meantime, let us make up for some lost time with some photos from the workshops.
There are about fifty people in the cast, but we don’t workshop them all at once. We meet with six or seven at a time, pretty much every other weekend. The rest of the week we spend getting ready for the workshops…
The workshops are intense. We do a lot of role plays, both to get everyone used to the process and to generate some of the material that will end up in the movie. Sometimes we give people little slips of paper with secret agendas for them to pursue in the role plays. We try to have fun with it, as you can see above.
It’s a lot of fun, but we work hard at it. A typical workshop is 8 hours long; easily 10 or more if you’re on the production team. Then we get up and do it again the next day with a new group. This picture was taken during a break on a Sunday afternoon.
